We are bombarded daily with messages about what we should or shouldn’t be eating. One day our favourite food is good for us; the next we should avoid it at all costs. So often, food research results are released to the press without being given proper context, and sometimes the positive message contained in the press release is lost, or worse, misinterpreted.
Similarly, we are always being told about the next best thing in diets, promising amazing results in next to no time, but omitting to tell us that we need to follow the plan for the rest of our lives and have an inexhaustible supply of willpower. Are you trying to lose weight, but just don’t seem to be achieving your goals? Every time you eat you are sending messages to your body either to burn fat or store it. Are you sending the right messages?
If you would like some assistance in separating fact from fiction in the world of food and nutrition, then please give me a call.
